Welcome to Lady Slipper Kennel Club's website. We are located in the Kensington / Summerside area of beautiful Prince Edward Island.
Lady Slipper Kennel Club was founded in 1979 with the primary purpose of educating members and the public at large about the benefits of purebred dogs. In doing so, the club hosted its first conformation shows and obedience trials in 1982.
Our annual show is held the third week of July and features 4 conformation shows, 2 obedience trials and 2 rally obedience trials.
Next year's shows are July 21st & 22nd, 2012 at the Kensington Community Gardens, Kensington, PE.
The club also holds various dog-related events including monthly meetings, canine health seminars and show handling classes. And for the 2-legged members, we have an annual Christmas party, horse & sleigh rides, and barbeques.
